The Nigeria Physiotherapy Network regret to announce the transition to eternity of a renowned and highly respected very senior colleague in the profession, Mr Paul Eruotor, a retired Deputy Director of Physiotherapy at the Federal Medical Center, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. Mr Eruotor died on the 22nd of June 2012
Mr. Erutor has been noted by colleagues and friends as a very gentle and dilligent professional during his lifetime. He is know to have taken great interest in the profession in Nigeria, and was always very cospicious at most annual scientific conferences of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (NSP), even until his death.
Our condolences goes to members of his immediate and extended family, the President and the National Executive Council of the NSP, members of the NSP Delta state chapter and all our colleagues in Nigeria, and in the diaspora.
Reacting to Mr. Erutor's death, Professor Joseph A. Balogun, Distinguished University Professor and Dean, College of Health Sciences at Chigago State University had this to say: "This is a very sad and painful news to me personally. Paul was my classmate and roommate at the University of Ibadan in 1977. I appreciate all the fun and good time we shared during our College years. He is an affable and a rare gem of a gentleman. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. May the Lord grant his family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss."
Mr. Erutor will be surely missed by firends and colleagues. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Funeral arrangments will be as announced by his family.
